Missions
Serving the Community
Church of the New Covenant proclaims God’s love in its support of local missions with gifts of time and talents and money. The missions we support focus on refugee services, homeless men, and at-risk families. Our community service programs provide a rich variety of opportunities for volunteers to lead and serve in their community.
Six Star Refugee Program
The Six Star Refugee Program
provides safe, affordable housing and resettlement support to refugee families. CNC is one of 5 founding congregations and continues to be active in support of this mission. Opportunities to tutor children of the refugee families are available. Periodic workdays to repaint the apartments are held in preparation for the arrival of new families.

Clifton Sanctuary Ministry
The Clifton Sanctuary Ministry provides food and shelter to homeless men who are sick, elderly and disabled and provides a place where homeless men and volunteers can share community. Opportunities are available to prepare a Saturday evening meal and share it with the guests at the shelter. Early evening hosts also do laundry at the shelter.

PATH (Presbyterian Answer to Hunger)
We support the programs of PATH by earmarking our pledges for participants in the Atlanta Community Food Bank Hunger Walk (http://www.acfb.org/) to benefit PATH and its programs.
Serving the World
In addition to supporting local Atlanta and Georgia organizations, members of CNC have traveled the country and crossed the oceans to share the vision of God’s love. CNC young adult volunteers have answered God’s call to serve in Egypt and from coast to coast in California, West Virginia and Maryland. The youth group has also participated in Mission trips to Chicago, Louisville, Washington DC and Mexico.
